ABN is part of Schneider Electric and specialist for counter and distributor systems. At the Neuenstadt site, we manufacture components for energy distribution systems – from standardised counter positions to customer-specific solutions.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a machine operator (w/m/d) at the next possible time.

The focus of the site is on the operation of several plants of sheet metal processing in series operation according to clear specifications (e.g. WEMO lines, AMADA, Salvagnini or welding automation).

Your tasks

• operation of sheet metal processing plants according to predetermined working instructions
• Processing of serial orders by production plan (incl. material handling and program start after specified)
• Conducting simple, standardized conversion and change processes
• Conduct of inspection and measurement tests according to test plan
• Detection of deviations, disturbances or uncertainties as well as introduction of predefined measures (stops and escalation)
• Reporting of production progress and disturbances and compliance with work, quality and safety requirements

Your profile

• Complete training as a machine and plant leader in metal technology or comparable
• Alternative: relevant professional experience in the production/sheet processing with safe operation of plants according to requirements
• First experience in handling automated production plants
• Basic understanding of technical processes, work instructions and quality requirements
• Careful, reliable and structured operation
• ready for use on different systems within sheet metal processing
• readiness to work in shift work
• Good knowledge of German
