Senior DevOps Engineer, Focus on Orchestration Platforms (m/f/d)

As part of the platform framework and infrastructure team, you are essential for developing solutions for information acquisition, evaluation and analysis You work as a DevOps expert in complex inventory systems and renew these future-oriented You design and care for the common infrastructure related to the artifacts of a software life cycle and the development of a holistic delivery line focusing on reliability, automation, scaling and special security requirements You take care of dependencies, security issues and hardware utilisation limits pro-actively and independently You advise internally on problem-solving scenarios and integration of specialist area requirements taking into account cost/benefit weighing In particular, you take into account the conception of monitoring for the various environments, taking into account industrial standards and best practices, but are also directly involved in maintenance and monitoring themes. You work with our strategic IT topics of the future and take responsibility on selected topics in joint coordination Your integration is supported by experienced colleagues. During this phase, you will get in touch with various topics of our professionally wide range of tasks and get to know the characteristics of our existing infrastructure. You have a completed natural science degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics, etc.) or a completed IT vocational training with corresponding professional experience You understand yourself as an innovation driver with mature personality, who does not pursue individual tools, but pursues holistic approaches with conviction and likes to take responsibility You bring very good knowledge and experience in Linux distributions, ideally Ubuntu LTS servers, with knowledge in other distributions also being welcome. You bring practical experience in the migration of existing and newly created Docker containers into orchestration platforms (Kubernetes and/or OpenShift) and their operation with Topics and tools related to the operation of orchestral platforms such as Keycloak, LDAP, Apache Proxies, Routing and firewalls, Observability, Ansible, Terraform or Helmet charts are at least part of your daily tools You will be happy to bring your strong interest in understanding new technologies in depth, and your commitment to holistic solutions. You are interested in agile project models (Scrum, SAFe) You are strong in communication (over team and leadership levels) You have very good German and good English knowledge in word and writing
