In this position, you create technical solution concepts and maintain the products used in the storage, backup and archiving area. Your tasks include implementation, configuration and operation of the entire storage and backup landscape as well as the construction, installation and operation of the physical systems. You operate independent incident, problem and change management (2nd & 3rd level support) for the storage and backup environment, taking into account our high IT security standards. You are responsible for the further development of the environment, for the implementation of regular restart tests and for the implementation of availability requirements in compliance with the security and compliance requirements. The creation of process descriptions and documentation, especially in the context of Business Continuity Management, is also part of your task.

Your completed studies in computer science or a completed training for the IT administrator (m/w/d), specialist (m/w/d) for system integration or the like, in conjunction with several years of professional experience, forms the ideal precondition for this job. You already have experience in a comparable field of activity and were able to acquire knowledge of storage virtualization, SAN, file sharing, backup, archiving or Ceph. Ideally, you already had contact points with heterogeneous IT environments and high security and availability requirements. Personally, you convince us with pronounced analytical skills, a strong team capability and good English and negotiated German skills.
