ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.
In the newly established Aerospace business unit, we develop high-quality and high-performance optical systems for aviation. With holographic technologies, compact next-generation head-up displays are industrialized in cockpits and transparent displays for cabin interiors. Your role To ensure regulatory conformities and high product qualities for the aviation environment, we are looking for an experienced quality manager (m/w/x) with sound expertise in quality standards such as AS 9100, EASA regulations and RTCA DO-160 standards. Your duties include: Leading installation of product development processes according to applicable quality management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS 9100) taking into account aviation and safety requirements, e.g. according to EASA, DO-160 and other standards of aviation in close cooperation with the entire Aerospace Team and the Quality Management System Officer of the Microoptics
Coordination in certification and customer audits
Support for environmental, service life, reliability and stress tests according to air navigation-specific standards and customer specifications
Close cooperation with purchasing and engineering to ensure supplier compliance and support in supplier selection, assessment, development and audits, as well as escalation management and improvement programs
Supporting the data interface in the Environment, Health and Safety Managementtool (EHSM) for the care of suppliers with regard to REACH and RoHs
Construction and implementation of complaint and complaint management (customer complaints incl. Cause analysis and 8D methodology
Accompanying the development and implementation of correction and improvement measures
