AI researcher with project management function (m/f/d)

Guide a central work package in JAIF (“AI Factory Services” or “Application Transfer”) Ensure coherence between the objectives of the work package with the higher project objectives of JAIF Coordinate work in the JAIF consortium and with international partners Represent and present the results at international conferences and to the sponsors actively follow the latest developments in the field of new AI and HPC methods and evaluate trends in their future potential actively research current scientific issues related to AI or HPC and publish results in journals or top-tier conferences

You have an excellent master's degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, mathematics, engineering or natural sciences, preferably with completed doctorate or an outstanding publication history Proven AI experience through publications at top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML or the SC You have relevant experience as users with supercomputers and proven programming skills You are a communication talent and are not afraid of conversations across the hierarchies You have very good knowledge of German and English, both oral and written (at least B2-level according to the GER: https://go.fzj.de/language), ideally proven by a certificate You have experiences with international research projects Even if you do not find yourself 100% in this job description, we are happy to receive your application.
