IT acts as a central enabler of banking strategy and actively promotes digital transformation in a highly regulated environment. The IT Business Analyst Competence Pool (m/w/d) is a key success factor at the interface between IT and specialist: Technical requirements are associated with technological possibilities, clarity in complex projects and ensure that IT solutions generate real value for the bank.

The function of the IT business analyst (m/w/d) assumes a leading bridge function between departments and IT. It covers the three dimensions of ''strategic business analysis'', ''operative business analysis'' and ''demand management''. It is ensured that technical requirements are fully understood, structured and converted into technically feasible concepts. The role moves safely between business, IT architecture and delivery teams and forms a central pillar of the change organization.

The field of application is still on the capital market platform. This represents the technological basis for LBBW's capital market business and supports the entire range of sales, trading, treasury to operations - both domestically and abroad. The focus of the activity as an IT business analyst (m/w/d) is on the overall management and development of the stable and efficient provision of securities services for retail, wholesale and institutional customers.

Focus in the operational business analysis with analysis, structuring and expert assessment of requirements from the fields of expertise translation of technical requirements in IT-close, developable artifacts (e.g. target images, technical concepts, EPICs, features, user stories) as well as derivation of design specifications for developers (e.g. interface design, processing chains, fault case handling) IT-side prioritization and control of demand and Epics with internal and external teams, including technical evaluation, coordination of effort estimates as well as analysis of system and process dependencies and risk assessment of changes in close coordination with the professional product owners Close cooperation with IT architecture, development teams, product owners and project management across the entire delivery cycle as well as active participation of analysis, documentation and transfer standards Provision and coordination of technical-logical data models and data flows in the securities back office as well as the use of repository and analysis tools in the mainframe environment (e.g. XINFO) for impact analysis, quality assurance and documentation Identification and implementation planning of possible (cost-) efficiency increases as well as ensuring a consistent, comprehensible request basis. Complete study of (economic) informatics or comparable, multiannual practical experience in IT Multiannual experience as an IT business analyst (m/w/d) in complex IT landscapes and/or as a developer (m/w/d), IT architect (m/w/d), IT-Owner (m/w/d) or Application Manager (m/w/d) Embossed methodological competence in IT business analysis: structuring and prioritizing requirements, understanding end-to-end processes in software development, and ability to translate technical requirements into consistent solution and data models and question prioritization decisions professionally and technically critically Embossed analytical thinking and joy in complex interface and data landscapes, ability to structure and derive design specifications as well as profound knowledge in the HOST environment (COBOL, DB2, JCL process control) and openness for Java on z/OS Experience with securities or capital market processes as well as with agile and hybrid delivery setups (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, classic project models) and willingness to participate actively in different approaches (agil, hybrid, waterfall) Very good communication capability, in particular in moderation and translation between stakeholders, high interest in process digitization and modelling as well as ability to support decision-makers with prioritization and decision-making through transparency and good scoping Active employment with GenKI (Generative AI) and digital enablers, desire for cost-effective implementations, knowledge of regulatory requirements for IT in banks, high self-initiative, willingness to be continuously incorporated into new technologies and bank-related topics, and appearance as a team player or Team player '' with a good sense of humor'' and very good German (C1) as well as English (B2)
