Senior Java Developer (m/f/d)

You develop, optimize and operate cutting points for the digital connection of external partners on our cloud native stack – consistently aligned with the valid BiPRO standards and standards. Close cooperation in the agile team with Scrum Master and Product Owner, taking responsibility for its own components and implementing technical concepts in robust, predictable solutions. The participation in the development of technical concepts, the development of implementation alternatives and the participation in the preparation of well-founded decision-making foundations for the team and relevant stakeholders are also part of your task. In the team, you raise awareness of security aspects and compliance in the development and operation of our applications and live DevSecOps principles in daily work (e.g. security by design, automatized tests, monitoring). Use of our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and container environments, automatization of build, test and deployment procedures and support of the team in the continuous improvement of development and operational processes. Active further development of our IT landscape, platforms and processes, evaluation of new technologies, setting up prototypes and support in the establishment of suitable solutions in the organization.

Complete study of infor­mation or a comparable qualification. 2 – 3 years of professional experience in software development, ideally focusing on the development and operation of cloud applications. Very good knowledge of Java and Spring boat as well as practical experience with PostgreSQL. Experience in dealing with Docker and Kubernetes as well as with modern version management and build systems, ideally GitLab (including CI/CD). experience with tools for testing automation, CI/CD and IT security in software development; first practical experience with Scrum and agile ways of working. Knowledge of Azure, the insurance industry and the BiPRO services are of advantage. Very good German knowledge (min. level B2-C1), in word and writing, as well as the willingness to be present on site at the ART and team days.
