Emschergenossenschaft and Lippeverband are jointly the largest wastewater provider and operator of wastewater treatment plants in Germany and reliable partners of our municipal and industrial members. Head of Business Administration (m/w/d) For the Operation Lippe business unit, we are looking for a management (m/w/d) company Lippe at the next possible date.

In this key role, the management of the business unit is responsible for the safe and sustainable operation of central water systems and infrastructures and contributes significantly to the sustainable development of the environment and flood protection in the association area.

Strategic, technical and economic management of the Operation Lippe business unit with responsibility for the operations Western Lippe, Local Lippe and City Dewatering Hamm as well as around 425 employees over several management levels Ensuring an economic, safe and sustainable operation of 54 sewage treatment plants, around 1,300 km of channels, 425 km of water, 75 km of ponds and other water infrastructure in the association area Responsibility for managing complex investment, construction and reinvestment measures and for an annual cost budget of over 60 million. Euro Developing future-oriented operating strategies and implementing innovations in the areas of digitalization, resilience, climate adaptation, energy efficiency and sustainable plant and network operation Representation of the business unit vis-à-vis municipalities, authorities, political bodies and other stakeholders as well as active participation in the strategic orientation of Lippeverband and Emschergenossenschaft

Successfully completed academic studies (Master / Diploma) of urban water management, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable discipline Multiannual leadership experience in a leading position with responsibility for larger organizational units and executives across multiple hierarchical levels Extensive knowledge of settlement water management and experience in the operation of complex technical infrastructures and water systems Experience in crisis management (e.g. floods), implementation of resilience measures and control of change and transformation processes Integrative and decision-making leaders with strategic vision, strong communication skills, economic understanding and the ability to develop sustainable solutions across organisations
