As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

At more than 80 locations in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen and Bremen, the Service Center Hamburg ensures decentralized service in the area of telephony, hardware and software, LAN, WAN and permanent representation of BWI GmbH on site in the properties of the Bundeswehr. In addition, the Service Center Hamburg processes defined task packages within the framework of projects and provides on-site service at the BWI-owned IT.

Your profile:

• Complete vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of Maximo, IT-SPS, FNT and TeDiS as well as good knowledge of IT processes and MS-Office
• High IT affinity
• Representative know-how in the field of IT management networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) is desirable; Certifications of advantage
• Knowledge of the peculiarities of the customer Bundeswehr of advantage
• Individual initiative, organisational skills, good team and communication skills as well as customer and quality orientation
• Flowing German knowledge in word like writing and driving licence class B

Your tasks:

• Acceptance, qualitative examination and further processing / disposition of incoming interference messages within the ticket system
• Timely and economically efficient disposition of orders as well as maintenance and monitoring of service levels and escalation processes, including proactive testing of ticket quality (e.g. ticket entries)
• Tool-based control / support of service technicians for order filling
• Planning of projects with regard to terminological, economic and technical feasibility
• Communication between customers, foreign companies, internal interfaces and technical field service
• Installation and commissioning of hardware and software
• Support for organisational and administrative tasks
• Working in optimization projects
