Back office processing: implementation of all back office activities for complex power contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), battery storage systems (BESS) and related system services Accounting & Invoicing: Creation, Examination and Processing of Complex Settlements and Accounts to Ensure Precise Payment Flows with Contract Partners, Transmission System Operators (ÜNB/TSOs) and Internal Stakeholders Trade Validation & System Set-up: Deal Verifications, Trade Validations and Data Quality Tests and Operation Set-up in the relevant systems Troubleshooting: Investigation and clarification of settlement requests, payment deviations, quantity or price discrepancies and process withdrawals Interface work: Close cooperation with Front Office, Origination, Risk, Credit, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal and IT to coordinate operational requirements Governance & Controls: Ensuring strict controls, evidence and KPI tracking to ensure governance and audit readiness Process optimization & projects: Identification of potentials for standardization and automation as well as support for product and system initiatives through operational feedback and test support
Training: completed commercial training or a comparable qualification Language knowledge: English language skills in word and writing (B2 to C1) and German knowledge at least on B1 level Professional experience: Multiannual experience in trading operations, back office, commodity operations or a comparable operating environment Expertise & Market Knowledge: Detectable knowledge of the German and British electricity market and understanding of the operating lifecycle of structured energy contracts (PPAs, BESS or system services of advantage) Contract understanding: Ability to precisely interpret commercial contractual conditions and translate them into operational requirements IT skills: Experience with SAP and Endur as well as safe handling of Microsoft Office and reporting tools are desirable Personality: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a clear communication strength in an international environment
