The IT Security Operations team at the Competence Center “Network Services” is globally responsible for the maintenance, administration, maintenance, development and support of relevant IT security components such as firewalls, load balancers, WAF, remote access, VPN, cloud proxy, etc.

As Senior IT Expert*in (w/m/d), you are responsible for the further development and optimization of the security infrastructure, in particular in the operation of Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer), Cisco AnyConnect and Palo Alto products. They analyse security events, identify and respond to security incidents and ensure the effectiveness of the security mechanisms through regular checks. Coordinate and guide projects to implement and configure security solutions and work closely with internal and external partners. They ensure compliance with relevant security policies and compliance requirements. They create and maintain technical documentation and help share knowledge within the team and the entire organization.

Complete study of IT security, (economic) computer science, mathematics, comparable studies or comparable vocational training with several years of professional experience Comprehensive experience in configuring and managing security products, in particular Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto Experience with network and security protocols and technologies Ability to plan, manage and complete IT security projects Understanding legal framework and standards regarding IT security (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) Experience in the creation of technical instructions, guidelines and documentation Through the exchange with international colleagues, good knowledge of German and also very good English is absolutely necessary
