Area of employment: It is a full-time employment with a weekly working time of 39 hours. In principle, the place can be occupied by parttime workers in the case of complementary working hours.

Installation and configuration of computer clients, peripherals and standard and specialist applications based on Microsoft operating systems Implementation of software packages Helpdesk activities at the central IT hotline and occasional participation in readiness Processing of tasks and disruptions in the ticket system of the city of Osnabrück in first and second level support Cooperation with external service providers and manufacturers Use of remote desktop tools and client management systems with central software distribution and asset management Implementation and/or support/project management of IT projects Implementation, monitoring and further development of patch and update management Development of methodological and procedural documentation in the pertinent field of work Active cooperation in the continuous improvement of our support concepts You have become curious and want to get a first impression of the unit for digitalization and IT? You have completed training in the field of computer science (e.g. specialist in system integration) and can at best have a multi-year professional experience in IT support for Windows computers in corporate networks. We also expect: Joy in handling customers in IT requests/interfaces and their appropriate solution even in difficult situations Experience in managing computer clients and developing support concepts Knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 support Experience with ITSM tools such as Matrix42 and software distribution Administration of client server environments (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Intune, Fileserver) Experience in IT service management (ITIL certification desirable) Structured and independent mode of operation and communication strength Teamability and problem-solving competence Interest in incorporating into new solutions and procedures
