To meet the requirements of Software-Defined-Vehicles / Software-Defined Defence (SDV / SDD), we are looking for an area manager Software & Systems (m/w/d) that actively supports us in the transformation. You are strategically controlling the area, leading your teams to top performance and ensuring that the technical roadmaps are in line with the engineering division strategy. You are the central interface between technical development, project management and external partners. Your tasks: Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of high-performance teams Responsibility for personnel planning, targeted skills development and efficient resource allocation within the department Implementation of the organizational and technical roadmaps in accordance with the engineering division strategy Identification and introduction of measures to increase efficiency and continuous optimization of planning processes and daily business Monitoring and controlling of development projects with regard to milestones, budget and technical quality Ensuring a timely and specific delivery of the system and software components Close coordination and coordination with relevant specialist departments and the control of external partners and suppliers Representation of the department in strategic bodies and technical reviews

Successfully completed studies of engineering in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or comparable Extensive experience in software-defined-Vehicles / Software-Defined-Defence (SDV / SDD) Multiannual leadership experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and in personnel and resource planning Deep knowledge of the development of electronic systems, software (Embedded Systems) & AUTOSAR Found experience in defining and implementing technical roadmaps as well as in the strategic orientation of engineering departments Very good German, as well as very good English knowledge in word and writing Impressed communication, team and enforcement Strategic thinking combined with a high problem-solving competence Ready for business trips
