You acquire the special ability to scientific work in the form of promotion according to Art. 57 para. 3 sentence 1 No. 2a BayHIG You undertake tasks in science, research and teaching and familiarize themselves with all academic tasks of a professorship; the scope of the teaching obligation is between 6 and 9 SWS The setting is performed in the BesGr W1. In the course of the further development of the service relationship, a target agreement is concluded before the call is issued. The staff or employment relationship of the junior professorship is limited to 3 to 6 years. The exact duration, the specific scope of the teaching obligation and, where appropriate, the agreement of additional development objectives for the qualification of the permanent standard professorship (W2) are laid down in the target agreement. If the formal requirements are fulfilled in accordance with Art. 57 para. 3 sentence 1 No. 2a BayHIG and in the case of a positive evaluation of the services and criteria agreed in the target agreement, the junior professorship will be transferred to an unlimited standard professorship (W2). a completed university degree pedagogical suitability, which you can demonstrate, among other things, through the trial courses special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, which must be acquired after completion of university studies and which must have been carried out by at least three years outside the higher education sector. In particular, proof of professional practice outside the higher education sector may be carried out by providing a significant proportion of professional activity in cooperation between the higher education institution and non-university professional practice over a period of at least five years. The prerequisites for adjustment are given in Article 64(2) BayHIG. The junior professorship in the doctorate track is aimed at applicants who have the conditions of employment for a professorship at a university of applied sciences up to the doctorate or comparable scientific achievements (Art. 57 para. 3 sentence 1 No. 2 BayHIG). Prerequisite is, in particular, the detection of the type described in Art. 57 para. 3 sentence 1 No. 3 BayHIG required special practical experience. Persons who have already completed a doctorate are excluded from the application as the job serves to acquire the doctorate during the activity.
