These are your tasks

They take care of patients before, during and after radiation or radiation chemotherapy in the team. The focus of the activity is the Bayreuth site with 2 linear accelerators. As a consultant (m/w/d), you work in an interdisciplinary manner with the specialist colleagues involved in the treatment and the established doctors. They are involved in the decisions of the tumor conferences, as well as in the structures and responsibilities of the organ centres and oncological centers. They serve the patients throughout the course of a radiation treatment from the initial presentation to the treatment conclusion in ambulance, on the linear accelerator and also in HDR-Brachytherapy. They also work in the aftercare of the patients, even after expired radiation treatment. In the team, you contribute to the internal continuing and continuing training of employees.

This will bring you

You have a successfully completed training as a specialist (m/w/d) for radiotherapy or are in front of the specialist certificate in your training. They ideally have experiences with stereotaxy radiation and irradiation of benign diseases. You have the pleasure of sharing your knowledge with others, as well as working structured, precise and thoughtful. They have the willingness and ability to take responsibility in the organization and to contribute to the economic management, in addition to fulfilling the high technical requirements.
