Responsibility for strategic purchasing of production materials at international level Conception and implementation of procurement strategies for defined product groups focusing on chemical raw materials and packaging Responsible preparation and management of necessary price and contract negotiations Development of existing supplier relations and selection and qualification of new sources of supply in diverse markets worldwide You work in cross-functional teams with the aim of significantly and sustainably raising potentials, including for cost optimization Creation of ad hoc analyses, cost/benefit analyses and other statistics (KPIs)

Successfully completed studies in the field of economics, engineering or comparable training Multiannual professional experience in the international sourcing of production materials, ideally in the chemical industry Flowing German and English in word and writing as well as safe handling of a commodity management system (ideally SAP) Negotiating and strong communication with third parties Strengthening and implementing strategic procurement issues in a complex environment Entrepreneurial thinking and action with a high self-initiative
