Senior IT Architect – Asset Management & Automation (m/w/d)

Take care of our country's digital sustainability together with us. Senior IT Architect – Asset Management & Automation (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. The PoD2 area is responsible for the Service Lifecycle Architecture as well as the problem of support for all service modules and works with comprehensive development projects. Automation & Engineering is responsible for architecture for a variety of system and service management applications. With automation, we support the performance of the departments. You can make your work mainly from home office, but are always invited to meet with colleagues on site at regular intervals.

Further development of the process landscape in the field of asset documentation/DCIM, IPAM and network/infrastructure planning (technological, functional and organisational, as well as the implementation of market views)

Assessment and prioritisation of requirements from specialist areas or projects and the creation of solutions

Creation or participation in technical concepts (architecture, implementation, security and migration concepts) Stakeholder management, incl. communication at non-technical level Participation in projects in the context of documentation and integration, and automation

Successfully completed studies with computer science reference or comparable

At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture, preferably in the context of data centers, network or infrastructure

Experience in managing developer teams and service providers

Knowledge in two of the topics: FNT Command Telco or comparable(network planning), IPAM, documentation or commissioning of IT infrastructure, application development

Very good communication skills in dealing with customers and internal contacts in a complex environment

Enforcement, analytical and target-oriented working methods and a pronounced customer and performance orientation

German language skills in word and writing Remarkable: Experience in handling container and cloud applications
