Transmission Technology Technician Cables (a*)

You are responsible for the expansion of the telecommunications cable network and for a powerful and future-proof infrastructure. You plan DSL rings independently and ensure their technically perfect interpretation. You take part-project management tasks and coordinate appointments, quality and interfaces. The start-up and undisturbation of cable systems of the secondary network will guide you and ensure a quick recovery of operational readiness. Cable work in the telecommunications cable network is prompted and documented carefully so that the system condition remains comprehensible at any time. You create work orders structured and assign the field service professionally to the tasks. You coordinate foreign companies and pay attention to compliance with quality, appointment and security requirements. In addition, you are in service and contribute to the high availability of the network.

You are a master or technician (a*) in the field of electrical engineering or communications technology. Knowledge and relevant experience in telecommunications, in particular in the use of telecommunications cables, will help you. A high quality awareness distinguishes you – especially in the technically sensitive environment of the communication networks. Responsible, structured work as well as strong team skills shape your working style. Business understanding helps you to reconcile technical and economic aspects. You own a class B license.
