The fire department Wiesbaden includes three fire guards, the central control center for fire protection, disaster protection and rescue services, a location center and 20 volunteer firefighters. There are currently approx. 400 employees. The subject area “Personal Management and Organisation” is the central point of contact for all personal and organizational issues within the fire department. It supervises the implementation of job placement procedures from tendering to recruitment, initiates promotions, coordinates job descriptions and accompanies organisational change processes. Management of the subject area in technical, human and organizational terms Ensure a legally compliant, customer- and solution-oriented processing of all personnel operations including the bodies to be involved (women and equal opportunities officers and the local personnel council of the fire department) Planning and organisation of personnel collection and administrative preparatory work required for transport and assessment Working with the implementation and further development of a demographic-oriented concept for human resources Editing and accompanying sensitive personnel matters (e.g. legal and disciplinary procedures, care of long-term employees) Advising executives and employees in human and organizational matters Development of (digital) concepts for optimising business processes Participation in change projects and creation of organizational provisions to implement the results in the job plan Examination of job descriptions and preparation of job-plan applications under the budget

Completion for the up-to-date service of the General Administration or completed studies (min. Diplom-FH/Bachelor) qualified for the performance of the above-mentioned tasks or completed further training (e.g. manager/in) qualified for the performance of the above-mentioned tasks Multiannual professional experience (at least two years) preferably in the field of human resources management or Staff management Experience in personnel management is advantageous Professional experience in public service is desirable Knowledge and experience in the application of the rules of civil servants, civil servants and utility law and collective bargaining law Knowledge of the Hessian Fire Brigade Ordinance is desirable Willingness to participate in the executive development programme of the Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden
