Head of the inspection body (m/f/d)

Head: You are responsible for the technical and organizational management of the inspection body and ensure a comprehensive flow of information between management, executives and the team of the inspection body (lead) auditors, trainees and QMB Management System: You design, implement and continuously improve an effective management system to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020 Quality assurance: You take over the technical supervision of the (lead) auditors through sample-like reviews and the release of works by the inspection agency Competence building: You are organising a strategic competence building and qualification maintenance at the inspection centre in coordination with the ESE Academy Accreditation: You agree with accreditation bodies such as the DAkkS and advance the receipt and extension of the scope of accreditation Reporting: You are launching reports on processes and quality objectives of the inspection body in close coordination with the quality management of ESE Complaint Management: You follow structured objections and complaints and initiates improvements Publicity: You participate in lectures and publications on safety topics

Qualification: You have completed engineering or comparable technical studies Professional experience: You bring at least 2 years of practice as an expert, examiner or certifier in the field – ideally in railway operations or industrial automation as well as experience with external accrediters Knowledge of standards: You have well-founded knowledge in the field of conformity assessment standards such as ISO/IEC 17020 (alternative ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO/IEC 17065) and in addition ISO 9001 Specialist expert: You have proven experience in the preparation of expert reports as well as pronounced analytical skills and structured procedures Leadership & Communication: You convince with pronounced communicative and organizational skills and understand how to guide a team professionally Language knowledge: You master German and English in technical matters
