Head of IT & Digitalization (m/f/d)

You take over the overall responsibility for our IT sector in an operationally shaped and strategic key role. In the coming years, you will significantly shape the technological development of the wobra – in particular the selection, conception, migration and introduction of a new ERP system. In doing so, you will consistently develop our IT already well-established in the municipal environment and create the basis for the next strategic development stage of our digital control and system landscape. You conduct our IT team in a disciplined and professional manner, create clear structures, priorities and responsibilities and report directly to the management. You provide a sustainable documentation and backup of system and process knowledge as a basis for the further development of our IT structure. Your central tasks:

Total responsibility for IT including budget and investment planning Discipline and professional leadership of a small IT team Active communication of IT changes in all fields – you create acceptance and binding process participants early on Own management of ERP reorientation with the involvement of external partners Development and implementation of an IT and digitization roadmap with clear prioritization Further development of a sustainable target architecture incl. Integration and data strategy Identification and introduction of meaningful AI-based automation and analysis solutions – pragmatic, economic and in line with our overall architecture Ensuring stable, secure and economical IT operation Control of external service providers in the municipal environment Further development of our central work and collaboration platform Responsibility for data protection, information security and backup and emergency concepts In addition to your strategic responsibility, you will work with you operationally if necessary and will intervene in complex topics.

Enforced, structured and at the same time value-assured leadership with clear communication Multiannual experience in an operationally shaped IT management or senior IT role with leadership responsibility Experience in the relevant participation or management of ERP selection or migration projects Embossed project management competence in IT and transformation projects Good understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud environments and integration concepts Complete study of (economic) computer science or comparable qualification with sound IT practice Ideally you can also bring (Nice-to-have): Experience in building clear structures and processes in small or medium-sized organisations Practical experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID) Knowledge of IT security and data protection Interest in and ideally first experience with the use of AI applications in operational business processes Industry knowledge in the housing industry is advantageous, but no prerequisite.
