Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies and asset managers to be successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.

As part of our Digital Engineering & Emerging Technologies team, you take leadership responsibility in consulting leading financial institutions on FinOps strategies and cloud cost management on Hyperscalern (AWS, GCP, Azure) and platforms such as OpenShift and Databricks. You can do a variety of tasks: Head of FinOps-Engagement Projects across all phases: Assess (FinOps-Maturity-Baseline, Gap Analysis, Cloud-Spend Analysis), Plan (Objective Operation Model, FinOps-as-Code-Roadmap, ITSM-Governance) and Execute (Implementation, Automated Optimization, Agentic AI FinOps) Responsibility for developing and implementing cloud optimization frameworks, shared cost allocation models (used) and policy repository for regulated financial institutions establishing and controlling customer relationships at decision-making level; Designing our FinOps service portfolio as well as active development of EY assets (Maturity Assessments, Operating Model Blueprints, Lever Books) Cooperation with partners such as IBM/Apptio, ServiceNow, Flexera and offshore teams and coordination of on- and offshore teams to ensure high-quality project results Mentoring and development of junior team members

Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business engineering, business management or a comparable course of studies and more than 5 years of relevant professional experience Funded knowledge in FinOps, familiarity with FinOps tooling ecosystems and platforms such as OpenShift and Databricks, as well as proven project experience in managing and optimizing cloud costs in financial service providers and experience in team and project management Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
