Aircraft mechanic (m/f/d)

Fast emergency rescue from the air and safe patient transport with helicopters and ambulance aircraft – this is the non-profit DRF air rescue. We are one of the leading air rescue organisations in Europe and fly more than 40,000 stakes a year.

Our crews are ready 365 days a year to save lives. We have state-of-the-art helicopters like the H135 and H145 models with five-leaf rotor as well as two ambulance aircraft. Our own maintenance company is approved according to EASA Regulation Part 145 and certified according to ISO 9001. In our shipyard at the Baden-Airpark in Rheinmünster, our highly qualified technicians ensure the airworthiness of the helicopter and aircraft fleet. You create the prerequisite for the fastest possible and safe rescue of our patients. Our colleagues implement helicopter modifications independently and innovatively in their own, authorized development operation.

Maintenance and repair: You carry out maintenance work on aircraft and components according to the assignment and instruction. Please note the dates and plans of the required spare parts, tools and tools. Tools: Check the validity of the calibration of the tools to be used and check them for completeness and their condition. Safety standards and protocols: You ensure compliance with standards, order and cleanliness as well as compliance with MOE procedures. Documentation: You carefully document the work carried out, as well as the results of inspection and inspections in accordance with the requirements. Optimization: Work in the further development of workflows and processes in maintenance operations.
