The newly established strategic business unit ZEISS Photonics & Optics bundles strong consumer products with high-end technologies. We are looking for a Project Manager (m/w/d) for development within the Hunting & Nature area. This includes the development of binoculars, spectacles and hunting optics such as riflescopes, thermal imaging devices and wild cameras.

You take responsibility for managing and controlling development projects for our products in hunting and nature observation

responsible for the planning and organisation of projects and keep track of milestone planning, implementation, quality and budget

They advance the project progress and work continuously to optimize the magic triangle between time, cost and scope

They coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and work with external international partners

You agree with internal stakeholders, such as product management, development department, sales & service, operation and other project leaders from the team

They identify potential risks at an early stage and develop risk mitigation strategies in order to achieve project targets on time

Monitoring and ensuring project progress with reporting to development management and management

You have successfully completed a technical or scientific study

They have proven experience in the management of complex development projects (certification, e.g. IPMA, GPM or similarly advantageous)

They have a very good technical understanding and enthusiasm for the observation and target optics of the field of hunting and nature observation

They have a strong social competence as well as communication and team skills

They work analytically and bring a high level of commitment, flexibility and enforcement

You communicate in German and English in a safe manner
