As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. In the Customer Solution Unit “GeoInfo, Analytics & Simulation” (GIAS), we provide the IT for the Bundeswehr, which is required for the collection, georeference, analysis, combination and use of data in order to achieve information dominance and a superior decision speed. For this, we bundle responsibility for forward-looking customer solutions in the BWI. We advise our customers to transfer strategic goals into concrete requirements and plan, implement and operate the resulting solutions together with other specialist areas of the BWI.

Technical overall responsibility as a Senior IT architect Data Fusion Platform for one or more IT solutions in the context of the collection and analysis of data from public sources (“Open Source Intelligence”) Translation of the functional requirements of the business architecture into a sustainable IT architecture coordination of the relevant input variables with business architects and product owners, as well as defining the essential technical parameters for the IT grob concept Responsibility for the Solution Design in close cooperation with specialist architects from various BWI services. Total technical responsibility in the interaction between project managers, product owners, specialist architects, business architects and other specialist experts with the aim of successfully implementing complex projects Experts on the successful implementation of complex projects.

Complete study of economic informatics, computer science or comparable qualification At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally as responsible IT architect within complex IT projects Very good technical IT knowledge in the areas of cloud / virtualization, databases or applications in the context of BI, analytics and data science Good knowledge of infrastructure, platform, networks, operating systems and IT security Ideally relevant certifications or comparable professional experience Pleasure of regular local work in our BWI offices in Bonn, as well as appointments with our customer Bundeswehr
