Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Lollar As a DevOps Engineer, you are tuning with stakeholders, defining requirements and working closely with the team to implement and further develop our embedded Linux development environment. You develop, maintain and optimize our build and deployment pipelines to accelerate and improve the software delivery process. In addition, you automate build processes and environments, reduce manual work steps and increase efficiency. The support of our solutions for containerization and container management as well as the securing of a scalable, performant infrastructure also fall into your area of responsibility. You configure, implement and manage our CI/CD tools to automate tests, integrations and deployment. Furthermore, you monitor our build infrastructure, including security management, regular updates and resource monitoring, analyze bottlenecks and implement targeted optimizations. The team will help you develop and implement authorization concepts for secure and compliant infrastructure. Integrierst, optimierst, and engage the Yocto-Build process into our build pipelines and actively engage in the team by promoting DevOps principles and continuously working on improving our processes. Last but not least, you are responsible for the technical documentation and the knowledge transfer to our development teams.

Education: completed university studies in computer science or comparable qualifications Experiences and know-how:very good knowledge in Python, Groovy, Bash and Lua Experience in dealing with the Yocto Framework, Bitbake, Artifactory artifact management and the use of virtualized components in build environments familiar with build tools such as make and CMake as well as with complex IT environments and corporate networks (e.g. firewalls, proxies) safe to use version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket and GitHub sound understanding of containerization and container management (e.g. Docker, Docker-in-Docker) practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions knowledge of the application of automated test tools, such as Labgrid, pytest or comparable Know-how in monitoring and analysis of system resources for performance optimization
