Managing Director (m/f/d)

The Bundesverband der Spielplatzgeräte- und Freizeitanlagen-Manufacturer e.V. is the industry association for manufacturers of playground equipment, fall protection products and equipment for park and leisure facilities. For more than 40 years, he has bundled the interests of his members and represents them at economic, technical and political level with respect to the relevant institutions.

On September 1, 2026 we are looking for a Managing Directorin (m/w/d) of the Bundesverband der Spielplatzgeräte- und Freizeitanlagen-Manufacturer e.V. (BSFH) in Hilden near Düsseldorf. You support the Chairman and the Board of Management in the strategic orientation of the Association. You are responsible for financial and economic management and monitor compliance with the statutes. As managing directorin, you maintain a trusted cooperation between the Executive Board and between the members. • Working time: at least 4-day week
• Location: currently Hilden (Office)

Keeping the central interface between member companies, board, standardisation bodies and external stakeholders Organize the General Meetings and Board Meetings as well as the meetings of the individual specialised committees Design and implementation of the press work in our specialist magazine and on the BSFH website Coordinating the representation of interests in the specific standards committees (EN, DIN, FLL) Planning and implementation of our annual fair appearances at the FSB in Cologne and the GaLaBau in Nuremberg Leading internal industry statistics and analyse cyclical industry development (market report) Create regular info letters to members Responsible for budget planning and financial statements with the treasurer

completed studies and/or sufficient professional experience at the association level, ideally experience in the playground equipment, leisure, landscape construction or urban furniture industry economic competence, commercial understanding and safe handling of statutory framework conditions basic understanding in the handling of standards and technical regulations secure communication capability to internal and external partners Experiences in press and public relations, digital media competence/PR: Marketing of the Association (Social media, website, AI) are desirable
