As a port authority, we are part of the HPA and in this role take over the implementation of all the administrative tasks of the HPA. In the team of the main topics, the right to port planning is exercised and cross-disciplinary tasks are handled from urban and spatial planning, administration, law and construction/port planning. We are looking for two new colleagues to strengthen our team. Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You will examine and judge usage and construction projects for compatibility with the Port Development Act, the Port Planning Regulations and the Construction Planning Law. In your role, you will develop opinions on construction law and immission law procedures. In addition, you represent the HPA in topics with public participation, take over the discussion and take decisions on implementation. Your work focuses on the Port Development Act. You can actively participate in his advancement. The preparation of senate and citizenship printed matter is also part of your task, as is the answer to requests for information in accordance with the Hamburg Transparency Act (HmbTG) and the creation of fees. In addition, you ensure the consideration of the internal requirements in planning and approval procedures. You represent the HPA in the development of the general construction planning of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

You have a scientific university degree in the field of urban/space planning, engineering, law or a comparable course of study or have equivalent skills and experiences. Your knowledge of the current building and planning law and the HmbTG are very good. In addition, you will bring deeper experience in administration – in particular in interdisciplinary and inter-authorized procedures and planning processes. Ideally, you already have knowledge in port planning law as well as a good structural understanding. Your mode of operation is structured and solution-oriented and you are able to communicate properly with your address.
