Strengthen our team as a system administrator – Monitoring / Operational Services (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) at one of our locations across Germany. The Operational Services monitoring team installs and operates Checkmk for customers and advises on building their own environments. By networking with other teams in the SVA, you are constantly in contact with new technologies, because everything that is used must be monitored. Despite the regional distribution across Germany, we meet regularly for team meetings or hackathons.

Installation and administration of checkmk instances and other monitoring tools Programming of checks and plugins for Checkmk in Python and Bash Create and maintain rules in Configuration Management tools like SaltStack Change and problem management

Complete IT-oriented training – e.g. as a specialist in system integration (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) – or a comparable completed study – e.g. computer science or business informatics – a cross-entry is also possible with appropriate expertise Experience with Checkmk or Prometheus Programming skills (preferably Python and Bash) Knowledge of Configuration Management tools (preferably SaltStack) Linux know-how, preferably Debian and knowledge in the field of container, especially Kubernetes (Base-)knowledge in Datacenter Infrastructure Strong service orientation and joy at work in the team Good communication skills with German knowledge at Level C1 (or better) for communication with our German-speaking customers
