When it comes to the rehabilitation of people with mental illness, our house St. Michael in Würzburg is one of the most experienced RPK facilities in Germany. In our recognized and certified RPK St. Michael we accompany people on their way back to a life as independent as possible – with medical-therapeutic, educational and psychosocial support. The aim is to ensure sustainable stabilisation and social and professional participation. During the up to two years of rehabilitation, we support our rehabilitands: to deal with their illness, to develop new perspectives and to gain safety in everyday life and professional life step by step. We work interdisciplinary, individual and with a clear focus: enable participation – long-term and effective. As our long-term specialist goes to retirement, we are looking for a succession that has long-term interest in leading our rehabilitation center medical-therapeutic.

We are looking from 1. July 2026

A specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy m/w/d 

with 34 hours per week.

Tasks:

• Responsible for the implementation of the comprehensive rehabilitation concept in line with the requirements of the service providers (RPK)
• Rehabilitand rehabilitation-specific treatment and advice:inside
• Medical-therapeutic management of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Cooperation with pre- and post-treating doctor: inside
• Coordination of rehabilitation planning in coordination with the rehabilitation team
• Execution and adaptation of the rehabilitation plan
• Compilation of medical reports, medical reports and dismissal reports
• Contact persons for the service providers and cooperating clinics
• Ensuring continuous training of employees:inside
• Representation of the institution

Profile:

• Specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or specialist in psychiatry m/w/d with several years of professional experience in psychiatry and ideally in social medicine.
• The additional name of social medicine and/or rehabilitation would be desirable, but can also be acquired.
• High social competence and human empathy, coupled with a clear understanding of leadership and organisational skills.
• team skills, interdisciplinary thinking, and respectful handling of rehabilitators and employees.
• knowledge of social law and social medicine as regards social-medical issues and rehabilitative care structures.
