They are primarily responsible for the inter-site, strategic SCM medium-term planning of product families and act as a central point of intersection between product range, supply chain management, manufacturing and distribution. They contribute to the further development of planning models, processes and tools for increasing efficiency and better integration of sector-wide planning data and ensure a transparency along the entire value chain and a sustainable supply capability. They actively shape and coordinate the views of the product sector, production and purchase within the S&OP. In addition, you will work out the most advanced options, e.g. outsourcing scenarios, in close cooperation with purchasing and manufacturing. They accompany development projects and new contracts in close cooperation with the development, the product sector, purchase and production; bring your expertise in SCM requirements in early stages.

They have completed their studies in the field of industrial engineering, BWL with a focus on supply chain management, production technology or comparable. You have also been able to gain professional experience in production planning, supply chain or strategic business planning, at best in a technology- and safety-critical environment (e.g. defense, aerospace or automotive). You will also be sure to deal with planning key figures, capacity models and supply chain KPIs. They have a deep understanding of product development related processes and their impact on supply chain and capacity planning. Very good knowledge of English as well as pronounced communication and coordination across functional boundaries and locations round off your profile.
