The Klinikum Esslingen is a hospital of central care, which lives from and through the diversity of its employees, places particular emphasis on modern medicine and collegial atmosphere and is deeply rooted with the city of Esslingen on the Neckar and its people.

The department has 19 regular monitors, as well as specialized treatment rooms (shockroom, insulation, wound care, endoscopy and gynecology). Emergency patients from all disciplines are provided. It is connected to an interdisciplinary reception station with 8 beds.

In the house there are specialist departments cardiology, gastroenterology, accident/general/heavy and thorax surgery, neurology with Stroke Unit and interventional radiology (24/7 thrombectomy), gynecology, and pediatrics and child surgery. The Klinikum Esslingen is a regional trauma center and participates in the inflicted method. Connected to the clinic is an emergency medical site of the DRK County Association.

• Interdisciplinary emergency care including conservative and surgical shock room supply
• Interdisciplinary care of patients at the receiving station (IMC Standard)
• If requested, participation in the emergency medical service
• Training of assistant physicians in clinical acute and emergency medicine
• Participation in KLINAM
