Tasks with perspectives You shape the implementation of the strategic AI vision for the banking of the future. In doing so, you transfer technological innovations at the interface of data, security and identity into safe, scalable and regulatoryly sustainable applications and create measurable added value for our customers in the cooperative financial group. You are a technology* impulse engineer for modern AI architectures and is responsible for the technical development of strategically relevant AI technologies. You evaluate new technologies, define architectural principles and establish technical standards for the safe and scalable use of AI in banking. You support the implementation of demanding AI applications from technical design to productive integration into existing platforms and ecosystems. You advise the departments during the transition to autonomous agentic workflows and actively support Tribes and Squads in the selection and integration of suitable agent frameworks in the regulated environment. You take the technological lead in business-critical lighthouse projects in the field of Generative & Agentic AI. Due to cross-site cooperation, a high level of commitment and readiness to travel is required.

Personality with profile You have a successfully completed (Master) degree in (economic) informatics/mathematics/physics as well as relevant long-term professional experience in the AI field or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded expertise in Python, modern deep learning and GenAI stacks as well as in AI architectures, LLMs, agent frameworks, Vector databases, LLMOps and cloud-native AI services. You combine your technological depth with strategic understanding, move safely into agile development processes and always evaluate AI in the context of cost-effectiveness, scalability and quality. You communicate complex AI concepts to C-level in an address-oriented manner and set trends and innovations in the AI environment as predictiver impulse generator. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level). Your analytically conceptual thinking and your entrepreneurial action as well as your ability to persuasively characterize you. As a networker*in you are keen to experiment and innovation, close to the customer and can bring experiences from agile organizational structures. Your willingness to take responsibility and to respond flexibly to situations and challenges will complete your profile.
