• As Lead Auditor*in Food Industry / Food Safety (w/m/d), you are auditing companies in the food chain - independent or in the team - based on relevant national and international standards.

• You evaluate management systems for food safety and check how effective requirements are implemented in practice.

• With your expertise, you contribute to developing and sustainably strengthening management systems and corporate services of our customers.

• You plan, organize and conduct audits independently, accreditation-compliant and professionally - from preparation to implementation to reporting.

• You clarify certification content securely and transparently with our customers, expand existing relationships and create high-quality audits as well as professional communication trust and long-term partnerships.

• Complete studies or comparable higher specialist training in food technology, food chemistry, microbiology, nutritional sciences, agricultural sciences, veterinary medicine or a comparable subject

• At least 5 years of professional experience within the food chain, of which at least 2 years in quality assurance or in a comparable function related to food safety - e.g. in food production, in trade or in monitoring

• Ideally already order as auditor*in for IFS Food and/or BRCGS (food/packaging) and/or FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000

• Knowledge of other relevant standards such as HACCP or ISO 9001 and secure handling of digital and remote ICT tools, e.g. MS Teams

• German language skills in word and writing, good English skills, driving licence and high readiness to travel
