Platform Owner - Azure Data Platform (m/w/d)

As a Platform Owner for our Azure Data Platform, you will drive the strategic direction and development of data solutions that optimize our supply chain operations. Besides, you will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our data platform delivers maximum value. This role emphasizes not only the architectural design but so the product ownership and delivery of a scalable, cloud-based data platform that streamlines inventory management, logistics, vendor relationships, and demand forecasting. Hence, you interact with supply chain teams and external developers to translate business needs into actionable product and deliver data-driven insights. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies like Databricks and Snowflake.

You define and manage the product roadmap for the Azure Data Platform, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value and stakeholder feedback - you own the product Thus, you spearhead architectural decision-making for the Supply Chain data platform, balancing technical and business needs regarding performance, cost, maintenance, and user-friendliness You contribute to the design implementation, and optimization of the Azure Data Platform infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security Plus, you develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources, including ERP, warehouse management, and transport systems, using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and related technologies you mplement data governance, security, and compliance standards tailored to supply chain data operations and cooperation with crossfunctional teams, including supply chain, IT, and Data Analytics, to gather and ensure alignment on product vision You drive the product development process using agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement

You provide a proven track-record in Product Ownership, especially for data platforms or related products Hence, extensive experience with Azure Data Platform services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake, are part of your portfolio As well as strong Devops Skills using GIT or similar tools for CI/CD and a proper understanding of cloud platform engineering principles and best practices Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, and cloud-based data architecture for complex supply chain ecosystems are desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders fluently
