DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) Life Insurance

For DEVK's IT department, we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/w/d), as a reinforcement of our agile team in the field of platforms and operation of life management. In interdisciplinary teams, we jointly develop and integrate product and system solutions in the Life Cluster to inspire our stakeholders and to make our future attractive. We are looking for you to consolidate our hybrid infrastructure in the cloud and to operate stable during this technological journey.

You are part of a large agile unit with several teams and the goal of efficiently operating DEVK's life insurance in the cloud. With your agile platform team, you operate both the monolithic inventory management system, as well as various microservices and build infrastructure in the OnPrem and OffPrem world of DEVK You secure the reliable development operation for all the Dev teams of the agile unit in the different stages and guarantee a smooth productive operation for our departments and expertise At the same time, you actively shape the continuous migration of our applications and tools into the cloud. You have completed a study of computer science or a comparable qualification You have detectable experience in the field of infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably both in the classic server world (ansible) and in cloud (terraform) You have experience in the areas of cloud services, network configuration and security, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab) You bring experience in the configuration and handling of Jenkins You have experience in operating (mainly Java and Springboot) microservices or larger web applications for customers You value best practices and pragmatic documentation Fun on challenges and solving complex problems in the team You are interested in introducing and implementing your own ideas to modernise the infrastructure in the DEVK
