Project Manager Trade Fair (m/w/d)

Over 190 employees of the FWTM are employed for the Freiburg and the region. Our tasks include economic and tourism promotion, trade fairs and congresses, the operation of event houses and the implementation of major events. The FWTM is responsible for developing the Freiburg site to ensure the attractiveness of the city for citizens and guests. To strengthen our fair team, we are looking for a project manager Messe Freiburg (m/w/d).

Project organization of various events (responsible as well as in technical management of small teams) - planning, organisation, implementation, controlling – taking into account the goals set Responsible coordination of internal structures, external service providers and project partners Conceptual development and strategic orientation of the assigned events in coordination with internal and external stakeholders Budget planning, monitoring and accounting in the framework of predefined objectives Supporting national and international customers, offering and order processing as well as improving the quality of events and services Development and optimization of work processes and database management

Successfully completed training or business studies, professional experience as project manager in the event and/or trade fair area as well as experience in legal bases and guidelines (contract law, data protection, VStättVO etc.) High operational readiness, high degree of self-motivation and time flexibility Embossed team and communication skills, enforcement Organizational, decision-making, negotiation skills Database and CRM experience, experience with IT projects and digital affinity Good English knowledge of word and writing, another foreign language is advantageous
