Are you excited about IT infrastructure and want to actively shape exciting (international) projects? In this versatile position, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and support of IT concepts and ensure that our IT systems work smoothly at several European locations. You actively design IT concepts, including both hardware and software components, taking into account the corporate IT strategy and current IT market developments. You evaluate the integration capability of individual IT subsystems and support the economic planning and analysis of the capacity requirement. In addition, develop alternative system scenarios to ensure flexible and sustainable solutions. You take over the project management in implementing IT concepts. In the team, check the functionality of the solutions, perform pilot applications and evaluate test operations. You coordinate the introduction of new or modified systems and processes, monitor their performance in real-time operation and fix vulnerabilities. In addition, ensure proper system management, create security concepts and maintain a complete and up-to-date system documentation. You ensure that the supervised local storage and server systems as well as networks are reliably available at all times, so that the IT operation works efficiently. You are responsible for server applications and act as a link between the Group IT, external partners and our employees to implement their requirements. In addition, you contribute to the further development of the system concepts.

You have a successfully completed training as a specialist informant for system integration or a completed computer science study. Following this, you have gained several years of professional experience in the field of data center, database and network administration. Your technical knowledge includes Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server, VMware vSphere as well as the administration of backup and storage systems. Ideally, you are familiar with the backup software Veeam. You convince us with their analytical and solution-oriented working methods and are self-organized and flexible to achieve optimal results. As an internal IT service provider, you always act service-oriented and at eye level with colleagues. You are ready to travel, i.e. 1-2 travel dates per year are planned within Europe. You can also communicate securely in German (C2) and in business English for international cooperation.
