Canteen employees in a shelter for refugees (m/f/d)

For more than 30 years, we, the Maltese Works, have been supporting governments and municipalities to bring and care for refugees. We create perspectives by preparing refugees for their new life in Germany and accompanying them on their individual path. For our support facility in Chemnitz we are looking for support for our team in the canteen at the next possible time. If you like to work with different cultures, are flexible and open, then you are right with us! What you expect from us:

• Preparation and output of breakfast, lunch and dinner (help activities and occasional independent cooking)
• Ordering foods and materials and their control during delivery
• Regular control of the warehouse with regard to proper storage and the shelf life of the food
• Compliance with hygiene and cleaning plans and documentation of emerging defects

• Completed training as cook/cooker
• Personal commitment and joy in dealing with people from different cultures
• A team-oriented, flexible and targeted action
• An independent, structured and trusted way of working
