Actuary / Investment Controller (m/f/d)

You actively shape our central reporting system and develop it structurally. Analyse, interpret and comment on the economic cores of the utility and relevant developments in the economic environment. A special focus is on the higher level of income and liquidity planning. Here, you will keep the cash flows from the investment as well as the technical parameters – from contributions and performance payments to provisions. In addition, you create supervisory reports as well as internal inventory evaluations and support in annual accounts as well as in accounting processes. In the further development and implementation of our internal risk model as well as the higher-level capital investment control, you will also bring your analytical strength. In addition, you will work with – including Asset & Liability Management – in actuary controlling and prepare complex data in such a way as to create sound basis for the management and our bodies. A special focus is on not only continuing existing processes, evaluations and reporting structures, but also critically questioning, developing and aligning them with a future. It is important to us that you are Data Science or Business Intelligence as central tools to efficiently process data and make connections easily visible.

You have a completed study of (economic) mathematics or an equivalent degree with deepened mathematical knowledge. Your ability to modeling will surely put you in complex questions. Ideally, you are already Actuar (w/m/d) DAV or you are seeking this qualification. We are happy to support a corresponding training. You are familiar with the basics of accounting for insurance companies and have already gained experience in controlling or risk management of investments. Basic knowledge in the field of insurance mathematics – such as life, pension or comparable topics – is advantageous. In addition, you bring a high IT affinity and have current knowledge in handling databases. Programming skills and competencies in the use of AI applications are additional benefits.
