On 29.08.2025 we open our youth aid facility in Engelskirchen. In a core-renovated historic building we create together with you a living place of growth and development. This is where a stationary group of nine children and young people aged 6 to 16 years old and a family group of four places for young people aged 16 years old is created. As a pedagogical specialist, you have the opportunity to actively participate in the implementation of our educational concepts and to offer young people a supportive, fostering home. Your duties include: Support and support for children and young people in personal and social matters Perceiving the supervision of children and young people Cooperation with systems of origin and other institutions Participation in assistance plan discussions according to § 36 SGB VIII with the aim of ensuring the necessary planning and implementation of education Regular team and individual calls as well as external commissions Planning and co-design of day-structuring measures and leisure activities Design space in a dedicated and motivated team

(m/w/d) or a completed study as a social education/social worker (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification Professional experience in child and youth assistance safe occurrence and an appreciation of children and adolescents, their caregivers and all persons involved in the support esteeming, communicative, congruent and accepting attitude towards the fellow human beings and the family systems of the respective children and young people strong empathy, strong team capacity, and the competence to act in challenging situations in a solution- and resource-oriented manner independent and responsible action Flexibility Ready for shift and weekend work
