Senior Digital Procurement Manager (m/w/x)

The introduction of S4 Hana is a transformation program at ZEISS to create excellent business processes in preparation. It offers the opportunity to work on the harmonisation and standardization of processes and structures that will determine the functioning of ZEISS in the coming years. End-to-end process considerations are the vehicle to organize the design of processes and structures and are considered to be the basis for implementing best-in-class processes and structures in an ERP system. This includes the control and implementation of external IT service providers in the processes.

Find compromises and make decisions: You take responsibility to create an optimal balance between the different functional and SBU process requirements. If necessary, run escalations to speed up decisions. Moderation of discussions: You moderate and guide discussions between process experts from various ZEISS units and international project teams. Promoting process and system thinking: You support business process experts in establishing process-oriented and system-based thinking and working. Introduction of new platforms accompany: You actively exchange with process experts to ensure the introduction of new platforms – especially in the case of legal changes. Share best practices: You promote the exchange of best practices within the SCM teams and ensure seamless integration with adjacent processes. Coordinating advice: You control and orchestrate external consulting services, including in the context of a multi-provider approach with strategy, process and ERP consultants. Responsibility for project planning: you create and maintain project plans that are coordinated with the overall programme plan and the procurement strategies. Promote improvements: You advance optimization measures, follow their implementation and initiate corrective measures if necessary. Configure S/4HANA implementation: You contribute sound know-how in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and actively support the design and implementation of future-oriented system solutions.

Ideally relevant experiences in a high-level management consultancy with activities in the international environment. Alternatively: Founded professional experience in the field of Business Process Excellence, focus on Procure to Pay or in a similar environment that deals with the optimization of processes and structures. Excellent conceptual and analytical skills: view for the whole; ability to separate important from unimportant discussions; without functional expertise, however, in a position to uncover and question unevenness in processes. Very experienced personality: with the ability to find the best compromise; driving and maintaining resistance by experienced experts; development of relations, cooperation with interest groups; Has experience in managing Schwarm teams using agile methods and principles. Strong perspective of change management: recognizing the need for change; has the will to tear others; independent, creative, flexible, result-oriented and value-oriented.
