You want to go through social work? Start your dual studies with the appropriate practical partner. Experience our dual study with courses on campus on two days a week. Then deepen your knowledge using our interactive learning materials. For more than 40 years, the non-profit Kinderförderungsgesellschaft mbH has been supporting children and young people with cognitive impairments. There are 48 places available in six residential groups at two locations in Nidda. Young people aged 6 to 18 are treated. A special focus is on the promotion of children and adolescents with autism-spectrum denominations and additional behavioural vulnerabilities. The facility offers individual support concepts and has many years of experience with this target group.

You treat and promote children and young people (6–18 years) with cognitive impairments and behavioural vulnerabilities - including autistic features In everyday training, you strengthen the independence of children and adolescents, for example when cooking, shopping, in the room design and the use of public offers You support the creation of development reports as well as case documentation and are involved in help planning and development talks with stakeholders Together with the team, you will participate in team meetings, supervisions and collegial advice and bring your perspective You actively shape leisure projects and participation offers and support social integration in everyday life

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You have first experiences through internships, volunteers or stays abroad (required, but no need) You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You enjoy working with children and young people You work structured, documenting conscientiously and are open to reflection and feedback You are open to integrative, participative pedagogy and are looking for teamwork Career prospects: Exciting perspectives in pedagogical work and regular training await you.
