Your mission

They accompany the complete development of complex embedded system platforms in the field of security technology from the supply creation, through the definition and development phase, to production. This includes the acquisition of the request analysis and the assignment of the specifications to the hardware and software components. In addition, you support the development of system architecture and the design of new system concepts.

• Project team member: participation in a project team to develop software for new products in the field of professional safety technology.
• Technical coverage: technical detection, analysis and creation of software concepts based on customer requirements.
• Embedded software development: creation of embedded software for microcontrollers (Bare Metal) and linux-based operating systems, mainly in C and C++.
• Design Patterns: knowledge and application of design patterns to improve software architecture.
• Technical documentation: Reading, checking and creating technical documents to support software development

We look forward to

• Academic qualification: Successfully completed studies in news/information technology, (technical) computer science or a comparable discipline.
• Practical experience in software development: experience in hardware-related software development in C/C++ as well as programming software for MPUs (ARM Cortex M and A) and MCUs from Microchip and ST.
• Device Driver Programming: Knowledge in programming Linux Device drivers.
• Development tools and CI toolchain: Experience with current development tools in an established CI toolchain, including Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube and Unit Testing.
• Approval projects and language skills: experience with admission projects (e.g. CC approvals) and fluent German knowledge in word and writing as well as good English knowledge for effective communication.
