Our Medical Care Centre for Immunology Lokstedt is represented at two locations in Hamburg - Lokstedt and Volksdorf. Our haematological and oncological focus at the Volksdorf site is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and benign blood diseases. The focus of our practice team is on the treatment at the latest medical level, taking into account the individual needs of patients. Patient care: You take the preparatory, monitoring and aftercare measures to the patients at the therapy units and ensure intensive care and observation of the patients. Intravenous accesses: You place intravenous accesses for performing the necessary therapy. Administration of therapies: You administer infusions, cytostatics and antibody therapies by instructing the treating physicians. Blood collection and laboratory activities: You carry out blood collections and take care of the proper sample management for the laboratory. Communication: As a communicative interface between patients, proficient and further-treating medical colleagues and cooperation partners, you are looking for a smooth exchange of information and excellent cooperation.

Training: You have completed training as a health care and nursing worker, nursing specialist or nurse or are medical professionals with oncology training. Professional experience: Ideally, you already have first experiences in oncology or other specialist areas close to the patient, such as dialysis or the like, or want to work in the exciting field of oncology. Computer knowledge: The use of medical information systems as well as the common MS Office applications is routine for you.
