At the next possible time, the body is in full and part-time employment, limited until 30.09.2027. The employment is carried out at the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus of the Technical University of Dresden and the remuneration is governed by the classification rules of the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L) and is possible in the case of the personal condition in the E13 TV-L remuneration group. The Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus is a leading pillar of the Cluster4Future Association SaxoCell, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, which stands for the development of new fields of application and production methods for gene and cell therapeutics, so-called ''living medicines''. Within this group, the Experimental Neurosurgery section (direction: Prof. Dr. A. Temme) researches novel immunotherapies for the treatment of brain tumors. As part of your activity, you will be significantly involved in the establishment and implementation of diagnostic procedures based on PCR methods such as gPCR and qRT-PCR as well as immunological and protein biochemical processes such as flow cytometry, Western blots and ELISA. A multiannual experience in the application of these methods is advantageous, as you will use and develop these technologies independently. In addition, you take over the implementation of experimental immune therapies based on lymphocytes in vivo, in particular in murine Xenograft models. An FELASA B certificate is required for this, and your multiannual experience in the production of animal testing applications and in the implementation of animal experimental studies is advantageous. Another important task is the isolation, expansion and phenotypic and functional analysis of primary lymphocytes, including work with ex vivo or genetically modified lymphocytes. Their expertise in these areas will be crucial for the success of the planned studies and projects.

Science degree and doctorate in the field of immunology/cell biology, genetics or comparable subject FELASA-B certificate and experience in animal experiments Experience in working with GMOs of safety level S1-S2 very good theoretical and practical experience in cell culture and lymph nodes, recombinant DNA technology, PCR diagnostics and murine xenon transplant models/ experimental immune therapies independent and reliable operation
