IT Expert System Administration, IT Security and Microsoft 365 (m/f/d)

As a central member of our IT team, your know-how ensures that the IT of the city administration runs reliably, safely and forward-looking. Microsoft 365 and Cloud Administration: You plan, implement and build our Microsoft-365 environment as a central foundation of digital administration – from Azure / Entra ID to the admin centers. A special focus is on developing and securing groupware and collaboration solutions (e.g. Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive) as well as evaluating and selecting suitable license models. IT security: You develop independent IT security measures for urban administration, implement them and continuously monitor their effectiveness. You will always look at current threat situations and current data protection and security standards (e.g. BSI basic protection) and derive concrete safeguards for sensitive management data. IT system administration: You maintain, maintain and optimise the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, virtualization) as well as communication solutions and cloud systems. This includes the configuration and administration of network components and ongoing tasks such as storage management and data bank care. Monitoring: You monitor the IT infrastructure, ensure availability and performance and identify proactive bottlenecks. Support and service: You provide second-level support, analyze system disorders and fix them targeted. Project work: You are planning, coordinating and implementing IT projects independently – from the introduction of new technical procedures to the further development of the IT landscape.

We are looking for someone who lives technology and has the view for the big whole. Qualification: completed study of computer science or comparable qualifications; (m/w/d) as an alternative to training as a specialist (m/w/d). Professional experience: Multiannual practice in the administration of IT infrastructures and networks. Microsoft expertise: Funded knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, Active Directory as well as MS Exchange / Exchange Online. IT security: deepened knowledge of IT security concepts, protection mechanisms against cyber attacks and relevant compliance requirements (e.g. BSI basic protection). Further knowledge: Experience in virtualization and dealing with ITSM tools (ideal Xurrent). Personality: You are service-oriented, communication-strong and keep your structured as well as team- and solution-oriented work even with high work volume.
