As Head of the Organisation Unit Europabüro Brussels at the Brussels office, you will report to the Head of Energy Policy (U-P) and be responsible for the representation of the interests of the Amprion in Brussels. At the interface between the disciplines, the federal and national policies as well as the corporate strategy, you make an important contribution to positioning in political discourse.

Your area of responsibility includes in particular the following activities:

Discipline and professional leadership of policy experts in the European office Support and representation of management in the representation of business interests in Brussels Monitoring and analysis of current political and social developments and corresponding trends in the energy sector, in particular at European level Content and co-ordinative participation in the development of overall political positioning in line with the company's strategic objectives Planning and management of policy priority projects with strategic relevance in cooperation with the departments Active representation of interests and communication with our European partners from administration, politics and business as well as the interconnection of entrepreneurial committee work Development of concepts and formats of political communication at the interface to public relations Building and maintaining a political and professional network

successfully completed studies of law, economics, political sciences or economic engineering, or comparable course of study - an advantage of energy-economic focus multiannual experience in the energy sector, in the European Parliament or the EU Commission or a democratic party and in the political representation/representation work at European level well-founded knowledge of the European and German electricity market and the legal regulations in the energy industry safe occurrence and negotiation competence high operational readiness, loadability and self-responsibility Teamability and high communicative competence very good English and German language skills in word and writing high readiness to travel, especially to Dortmund
