Software Architect for Machine Controls (m/f/d)

Your tasks include the design and implementation of a service-oriented architecture on the embedded Linux hardware. You are responsible for designing and evaluating modular native services and resource restrictions. Defining technical interfaces for interprocess communication, the web and interaction with mobile applications will give you pleasure. As part of a developer team, you create technical specifications and guidelines. You take responsibility for the cyber security concept of the controllers and compliance with normative requirements. In addition, you will work decisively on a sustainable, networked, reliable, expandable, service-friendly and smart architecture. You work closely with software developers for subsystems, user interfaces, testers and hardware developers. The further development of internal and cross-departmental processes is also one of your activities.

A completed study in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, communications technology or a comparable field forms the basis of your qualification. You bring relevant professional experience in the architecture of system-oriented software for embedded Linux and distributed applications. You have a well-founded knowledge of programming languages C, C++ or comparable languages for embedded applications and have experience with interprocess communication. Their enthusiasm for modern software is based on service-oriented architecture and middleware technologies (e.g. DDS, MQTT, gRPC). In addition, you will ideally experience Qt/QML or comparable UI frameworks, as well as an understanding of hardware interfaces and embedded system constraints. Your independent, structured and team-oriented way of working distinguishes you. Developing software and finding solutions is your passion - regardless of whether you have a classic career or a different background. Your profile is rounded off by very good German and very good English skills.
