Tasks

The Mercedes-Benz Logistics Center Nuremberg/Fürth is an important component in the manufacturer's own parts logistics of Europe. As the second stage of the supply chain, it is the link between the central warehouse, the Mercedes-Benz Global Logistics Center in Germersheim, to the customers.

Together with the other German wholesale sites, the logistics centers Reutlingen, Cologne, Hanover and Mainz, it ensures the fast and smooth supply of branch offices and service companies in Germany and the national companies of some neighbouring countries.

These challenges come to you, among other things:

• Examination and detection of incoming parts by counting, weighing and comparison of identity numbers
• Damage testing
• Income of goods by data review and collection of incoming parts and materials as well as visual inspection and clarification of deviations
• Internal transport with FFF
• Participation in the organisation of group work
• Working with the continuous improvement process to optimize ongoing work systems

Qualifications

Ideally, you will bring:

• Complete vocational training, preferably training as a specialist in warehouse logistics, or a similar qualification with a logistical background
• Experience in storage and warehouse management
• Ownership of a valid license for industrial trucks. Please provide a copy of your driving licence
• possession of a valid license
• Teamability, physical resilience and flexibility
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and offset working hours
• Good self-organization, work organization and high self-motivation
